Mehetable is an American guitar-bass-drums 4-piece with female & male co-lead vocals, blending folk, rock, chamber music, jazz, and experimental sounds.
They play with original film, which the filmmaker live edits in real time with the music. The band features current & former members of Brown Bird, Lisa/Liza, Lady Lamb, The Milkman’s Union, Family Planning, Lina Tullgren, and others.
The band is half based in New York City and Portland, Maine.
They have shared bills with Big Thief, Mutual Benefit, Ora Cogan, Bad History Month, and Arc Iris, among others.
