Dear dancers, friends and supporters,

We are very proud to invite you to our third FutureV event.

In the last 1.5 years we have been working on some choreographies as part of the project „Berlin is Burning“ (promoted by the Berlin project fund of cultural education) and we are happy to share the result with you.

In addition to the dance work of FutureV „Generation 2“ we have the first generation of FutureV – now Kiki house of Arise – and many other great artists.

This time we will not show a movie, we have only incredible artists who want to show us the diversity of Berlin and then the aftershow party !!!

The event will take place:

on 22.09.2018 from 6.00 p.m. to 21 pm –> After show party

in Slaughterhouse Moabit
Lehrter Strasse 35
10557 Berlin

There will be a 10-minute choreo of the new FutureV-members (choreography: Ariclenes A. Garcia aka AriGato Melody), followed by a conversation with the participants.
There also will be another show by Kiki House of Arise which will take about 10 minutes. After a conversation with the participants the first POC Drag House Berlin „House of Living Colors“ will follow.
At the end a surprise performance is scheduled.
After every show will follow a conversation with the participants.

„FutureV“ was a dance film project with queer refugees in Berlin. The idea behind it is to create a space in which all persons involved can express themselves through Voguing and their creativity. Now the project has been restructured, so we are not only focused on queer refugees but on all persons who are neglected by the society because of gender, sexual orientation, skin color, social class etc.
So with us all people are welcome who treat others with respect and open mind.

Voguing is a freestyle dance that consists of different styles. A central motive is gliding in different roles here.

At the beginning of the project, the participants did not know each other yet and at the end of the project we became a family that grows bigger and bigger, being there for each other and respect each other how we are. If you want to be a part of the family write us or just join us!

Liebe Tanzende, Freund*innen und Supporter,

wir sind ganz stolz, euch zu unserer dritten FutureV-Veranstaltung einladen zu dürfen.

In den letzen 1,5 Jahren haben wir im Rahmen des Projektes „Berlin is Burning“ (gefördert durch den Berliner Projektfond Kulturelle Bildung) an einigen Choreografien gearbeitet und freuen uns, das Ergebnis nun mit euch zu teilen.

Zusätzlich zu der tänzerischen Arbeit von FutureV „Generation 2“ haben wir hier die erste Generation von FutureV – jetzt Kiki house of Arise – und viele andere tolle Künstler.

Dieses Mal werden wir keinen Film zeigen, wir haben aber unglaublich viele Künstler, die uns gern die Vielfalt Berlins zeigen wollen. Anschließend folgt dann die Aftershow Party!!!

Die Veranstaltung findet statt:

Es wird eine ca. 10-minütige Vouging-Choreo von den neuen FutureV-ern geben (Choreographie: Ariclenes A. Garcia aka AriGato Melody), gefolgt von einem Gespräch mit den Teilnehmern.
Anschließend gibt es eine weitere Show von Kiki House of Arise, die auch ca. 10. Minuten dauern wird. Nach einem Gespräch, ebenfalls mit den Teilnehmern, folgt das erste POC Drag House Berlin „House of Living colors“ und zum Schluss gibt es einen Überraschungsauftritt.
Nach jeder Show folgt ein Gespräch mit den Teilnehmern.

„FutureV“ war ein Tanzfilmprojekt mit queeren Geflüchteten in Berlin. Die Idee dahinter ist, einen Freiraum zu schaffen, in dem alle beteiligten Personen über Voguing sich selbst und ihrer Kreativität Ausdruck verleihen können. Nun hat sich das Projekt umstrukturiert, sodass es sich nicht nur auf queere Geflüchtete konzentriert, sondern auf alle Menschen, die von der Gesellschaft vernachlässigt werden, sei es wegen des Genders, der sexuellen Orientierung, der Hautfarbe, der gesellschaftlichen Klasse usw. Also bei uns sind alle willkommen, die andere Menschen mit Respekt und Offenheit behandeln!!!

Voguing ist ein Freestyle Tanz, der aus verschiedenen Stilen besteht. Ein zentrales Motiv ist, dass hier in verschiedene Rollen geschlüpft wird.

Am Anfang des Projektes kannten sich die Teilnehmenden noch nicht und am Ende des Projektes sind wir eine Familie geworden, die immer größer wird, füreinander da ist und sich so respektiert, wie jeder Einzelne ist. Falls du ein Teil von der Familie werden willst, schreib uns oder komm einfch dazu!

Wir freuen uns unglaublich, euch auf unsere Reise, die noch lange nicht vorbei ist (!!!), mitnehmen zu dürfen.
