We cordially invite all those who are interested in exploring personal stories, reflecting on them together with other workshop participants and capturing them in images.

Prior experience with photography is not needed!

We, the workshop team, will do our best to provide a safe and intimate space for all those who would like to go beyond their emotional comfort zone. It is possible to bring already existing photographic images to the workshop and discuss them. First of all, the workshop will be a platform and a space for experiments.
The resulting work may be published on the Encounter blog or in the Encounter magazine.

The idea is to pair up the projects and present them in a dialogical manner. For this purpose, each participant should find a partner during the workshop, with whom they share similar topics and questions. If you prefer to work on an individual project, please let us know.

„Warum bin/lebe ich gerade hier? “ Subjektive Reportage in Berlin

Der Workshop bewegt sich an der Schnittstelle von biographischer Suche und Storytelling durch Fotografie.

Um an dem Workshop teilzunehmen, muss man noch nicht mit Fotogra e gearbeitet haben!

Es ist auch möglich, mit schon vorhandenen Bildern in den Workshop zu kommen und den Austausch zu suchen.
Der Workshop ist vor allem eine Plattform und ein Raum für Experimente.
Die Arbeiten können anschließend in dem Magazin Encounter und auf dem Blog Encounter veröffentlicht werden.

Die Publikationen werden immer zwei Arbeiten im Dialog darstellen. Das bedeutet, dass man während des Workshops einen Publikationspartner ndet, mit dem man ähnliche Themen, Fragen teilt. Wer das nicht möchte, sagt uns bitte einfach Bescheid!
